Call of Duty Championship 2015 Groups revealed

With the Call of Duty Championship 2015 just days away, Activision has revealed the group draw which will kick off proceedings.

The Championship takes place in Los Angeles, CA this weekend from March 27th until March 29th. Following a rigorous qualification process, 32 teams from around the world have earned the right to compete in the competition. Fans will be able to watch their favourite teams battle it out via multiple live-streams, as well as catch a sneak peek of the upcoming Ascendance DLC for Advanced Warfare. The winners of the competition will be crowned Call of Duty World Champions 2015 and there’s a prize pool of $1 million waiting to be shared.

To start the event, each team will need to face three other teams in a group-style format. There are a total of 8 groups comprising of 4 teams. The top two teams for each group will make it to the next stage in the competition, the bracket phase, while the bottom two will be eliminated.
