Epsilon win the 2015 Call of Duty European Championships

This year’s Call of Duty European Championships took place at the Royal Opera House in London this weekend with 32 teams competing for first place, but there could only be one winner…

Epsilon eSports beat TCM Gaming to be crowned the Call of Duty champions of Europe! The final match concluded with a 3-1 victory for Epsilon following a 250-146 Hardpoint result on Solar, a ninja defuse to seal a close 6-5 Search & Destroy win on Recovery, and a clinching 1-0 Capture the Flag victory on Retreat. It seemed like Epsilon were moments away from winning the final during the third map in the series but a late surge from TCM took the Uplink match on Bio Lab to a 6-6 tie and they were able to win the map in overtime. Although TCM took the series to a fourth map, Epsilon edged out a close and controlled Capture the Flag map to win the final with a single capture in the second round.

Here’s the final fourth-placed finishers, with all teams receiving a lump of the prize money:

  2. TCM Gaming (UK) – $2,500
  3. Team Finland (Nordic) – $1,250
