Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon could extend beyond a single spin-off.
Actor Michael Biehn, who plays protagonist Sergeant Rex ‘Power’ Colt in the game, relayed some news during the latest Major Nelson Radio that creative director Dean Evans has ideas for a sequel. Moreover, Biehn flat out stated that he believes Evans “wants to turn it into some sort of franchise.”
Biehn said:
“Dean was with me on the phone last night. He was pretty jacked up. He was going into a meeting today, to you know.. I think he wants to turn it into some sort of franchise. He’s got a sequel in mind.”
Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon turned out to be an unexpected hit and in our review we said it will “make you feel like a Cyber Commando F’N Bad ASS”. Surely the world could use a little more Blood Dragon.
