GTAV on PC delayed again & date for Online Heists confirmed

Over on the Rockstar Newswire, the Grand Theft Auto V developer has confirmed some good news and some bad news…

First up, here’s the bad news: PC players have to wait a bit longer to play the game. Instead of towards the end of March, GTA V will now be released for PC on Tuesday, 14th April. The delay is to make sure that the game is polished as much as possible for launch and to ensure Heists and GTA Online are available on day one. As this is the third delay, Rockstar will be offering PC users an additional $200,000 in-game cash for GTA Online as a gesture for enduring the long wait. As you can expect, Rockstar promise that the PC version will be the most graphically and technically advanced version yet with PC-specific enhancmenets such as greater levels of detail, deep configuration options, ultra-high-definition support, and the Rockstar Editor which provides support for recording, staging and editing original clips.

As for the good news, another much-delayed feature is finally arriving next month: Heists! That’s right, well over a year from its initial expected launch, the much anticipated Heists mode is coming to GTA Online on Tuesday, 10th March for all platforms that the game is currently available on. Heists will allow four players to team up in order to plan and execute a number of multi-part raids and robberies.

Rockstar promises that more Heists information will be released in the coming weeks and have released some new screenshots, which you can check out below.
