New Grand Theft Auto V radio station debuting on PC next month

Rockstar Games have announced that a new radio station is headed to Grand Theft Auto V, followed by an album release.

The station, titled ‘The Lab’, will be hosted by The Alchemist and Oh No, whom both have experience of working on the game having provided the original score. The station will debut with the PC version at launch on April 14th and a standalone album will be released by Mass Appeal Records a week later on April 21st. The announcement only mentions the PC version, so it’s unclear whether the radio station will become available on other platforms. PC players will also be able to use the tracks when creating and editing their custom videos from within the Rockstar Editor.

The station and album, titled ‘Welcome to Los Santos’, will feature tracks inspired from the game’s original score. The Alchemist and Oh No worked on the music in partnership with Woody Jackson and Tangerine Dream and will include guests such as Earl Sweatshirt, Little Dragon, Phantogram, Freddie Gibbs, Popcaan, Killer Mike, Tunde Adebimpe and Samuel T. Herring (from Future Islands).
