The future of capturing game footage is here with the Elgato Game Capture HD. If you missed the unboxing of this product, click here.

This product has blown me away and has me thinking why hasn’t this been made earlier, so long to the days of wires and a big HD PVR just taking up to much room and a power outlet. This device is small, compact, and works great. The software that comes with it compliments it very well and they have been working on changing the software for the ones that matter… YOU!

So much information on the program and how well the card performs, so why not just show you:

As you can see this product is the real deal, if you been waiting on buying a capture card or looking for an upgrade, this is you answer. This product is the best for HDMI recording and manly because of the hassle free set up, simple program to use and compatibility with USB 2.0 is a plus as you won’t need to upgrade to USB 3.0 to use this product. Streaming with this is easy as any other product and that availability so early is great to see. Before a recent update there was a slight issue with quality but since Elgato has been working with xSplit this issue seems to be solved. Price is right where its competitors are at and possibly the only area I can see them getting a bigger advantage. But overall the product is great and from speaking to the guys over at Elgato it seems that they want to support this product greatly through software updates and changes.
