Medal of Honor: Warfighter Basilan Single-Player Gameplay Impressions and Trailer

I got hands on this mission for Medal of Honor at PAX Prime. Let me tell you it’s as fun as the trailer looks. You get to do everything it shows. The AI for your squad mates is rather enjoyable and they actually seem helpful than just pointless NPC’s. The other noticeable thing was the details to the environments and the recognition of enemies towards you. If you were in their vision they would react, rather than some games you could clearly be seen but not response or action came from it. The best part was the end and lighting up all those guys from the gunrail in the helicopter.

As in any single-player, cut-scenes and story matter. Although I didn’t get to play too much, from what you can see from the video above, you can see that the scenes are details and full of dialog and seems like you will be well-informed on what, where and how are things happening rather than second guessing and wondering how you got to a certain country and why. Overall, the story and objectives are clear, which is great, now to see how long the single player is once it’s released and if the story is as good as the hype.
