Following the traditional countless amounts of leaks, Ubisoft has finally revealed the next game in the Assassin’s Creed franchise. The game was revealed in a live-stream, which kicked off with an in-depth interview montage with members of the development team where the disappointment of Unity was one of the topics discussed. The stream also gave us a look at the game in development, pre-alpha gameplay walkthrough, and the reveal trailer.
Titled Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate (previously known as ‘Victory’), the game will take place in London during the Victorian era (1868). Players will control Jacob Frye and his twin sister, Evie Frye. Stay tuned for a full re-cap of information, images and videos in the next few hours.
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on Friday, 23rd October 2015. A PC version is confirmed for an “Autumn 2015” release.
